MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — A 16-year-old boy from Budd Lake was charged with disorderly conduct and littering after allegedly throwing food, drinks, and garbage in the parking lot of the Wawa at 312 Flanders Netcong Road in the Flanders section of Mount Olive Township on Oct. 4, police said.
Officers responded to the store at 11:40 p.m. following a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, the caller advised that the teenager was tossing items in the lot, with some landing on a vehicle.
The juvenile was located during the investigation, and his parents were contacted. He was released to a parent and is scheduled to meet with the Juvenile Detective for further proceedings.
