2 face drug charges following traffic stop in Hunterdon County

FLEMINGTON BOROUGH, NJ (Hunterdon County) – A traffic stop Sunday led to the arrest of two people on drug charges in Flemington Borough.

On April 17, an officer stopped a vehicle being operated by Raymond Depalma, 31, of Oxford Township for a motor vehicle violation. During the stop, the officer observed drug paraphernalia in plain view within the vehicle, police said.

A search of the vehicle was completed and Depalma was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to maintain lamps, possession of CDS in a motor vehicle and failure to wear a seatbelt, police said.

Jennifer Cirasa, 40, of Hampton was also arrested and charged with possession of heroin, possession of hypodermic needles, failure to give CDS to police and failure to wear a seatbelt, police said.

Cirasa and Depalma were then released pending a court appearance, police said.
