2 men accused of breaking into car, stealing credit card in Morris County

DENVILLE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) — Two men were arrested after a vehicle burglary last year in Denville Township, according to police.

On September 3, 2024, police responded to a report of a motor vehicle burglary on Adams Drive. Following the burglary, the two suspects attempted to burglarize two additional vehicles on Adams Drive and Sunderland Road, police said.

The suspects then attempted to use the victim’s credit card at a business in Belleville, police added.

During the investigation, the Denville Detective Bureau identified Rasheen Yarbrough, 20, of Newark, and Nnamdi Atumudo, 27, of Irvington, as the suspects, police said.

Yarbrough and Atumudo were each charged on January 21 with burglary, theft of credit cards, theft of movable property, conspiracy to commit burglary, conspiracy to commit credit card theft, and criminal attempt.

Both men, who are already in custody at separate jails, were processed and served with complaint warrants, with future appearances scheduled in Morris County Superior Court.
