2024 State Fair Meadowlands packed with a blockbuster offering of classic favorite, exciting new entertainment
A Vintage Circus, Michael Jackson Tribute, Jurassic Kingdom Dinosaurs and Racing Pigs Are Just the Start
EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ (Bergen County) – The 2024 State Fair Meadowlands is jam packed with blockbuster entertainment from new and classic acts.
This year’s lineup has something for the entire family, from the death-defying stunts of acrobats and cyclists to hair-raising amusement rides, magicians, Broadway-style music performances and racing pigs. The State Fair Meadowlands, the summer’s largest, long-lasting New Jersey event of the summer, takes place from June 20 – July 7. Tickets are available now online.
Vintage Circus makes its NY Metro Area Debut
This year’s free entertainment is an all-ages affair. Circus Lena is a vintage American circus performing for the first time in the New York Metro area. With sixth-generation performers, Circus Lena takes place under an Italian-style big tent, with acrobats and aerialists performing awe-inspiring acts. Comedians and jugglers will have the audience laughing and joining in the fun.
Fairgoers will also want to check out Cycle Circus’s FMX’s show, which is the largest freestyle motocross show of its kind in the world, with cycling aerial stunts and pyrotechnics that will leave crowds in amazement. Step back in time with Jurassic Kingdom. In this unique “edutainment” experience, life-like dinosaur puppets interact with the audience as they learn about these amazing reptiles.
Magic lovers will want to take in the electrifying show of illusionist Jay Mattioli. And finally, a visit to the fair is not complete without seeing Rosaire’s Racing Pigs as these adorable animals compete around the race to win a sweet treat at the finish line.
MICHAEL JACKSON, GINA ROYALE & SAMBA NOVA
Looking for world-class music and dancing? For three days (June 21-23) the high-energy Michael Jackson Tribute Showwill bring a Broadway-show experience to the fair. It has all the immortalized Jackson tunes set to MTV-reminiscent dance routines and a light show. Alternative pop music singer/songwriter Gina Royale performs at the Fair from June 28-30.
The New Jersey native’s hit “Low” is featured in the movie “After Everything.” And rounding out the Fair (July 5-7) is the Samba Nova Brazilian music and dance group. Founded by famed percussionist Ron De Francesco, Samba Nova will bring the Brazil Carnival feeling to the Fair, with fast-paced music and dancers clad in mesmerizing and extravagant feather costumes.
