22 new stop signs coming to Warren County development after resident concerns

POHATCONG TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – In response to resident concerns about speeding, the Pohatcong Township Mayor and Council have approved the purchase and installation of 22 new stop signs throughout the Shimer Manor development, according to Pohatcong Township police.

The mayor and council heard the residents’ concerns and took action, police said.

The new stop signs aim to enhance traffic control and promote safer driving conditions, police said.

The council is also actively working to address other community concerns raised during discussions. Enforcement can begin after 30 days’ notice, police said.
