71-year-old man located safely in Worthington State Forest, DEP says

HARDWICK TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) — A 71-year-old man was found safe Saturday morning in Worthington State Forest after State Park Police were notified he may have been missing, according to Caryn Shinske, senior press officer for the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (DEP).

The incident occurred around 10:30 a.m., when officers located the man on Worthington State Forest property. He did not require medical attention, according to the DEP.

No further details were available.
