AUGUSTA, NJ (Sussex County) – The Sussex County Board of County Commissioners, Department of Health and
Human Services, and Division of Senior Services are proud to present Senior Day at the New Jersey State Fair.
The event will take place under the Planet Networks Performing Arts Tent at the Sussex County Fairgrounds on Thursday, Aug. 8 between 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Entertainment at this year’s Senior Day will take the form of “Rock N’ Roll.”
Enjoy music provided by our disc jockey emceeing songs from the 60s, 70s and beyond, along with other entertaining tunes. All attendees will enjoy lively entertainment, light refreshments, door prizes, valuable information from vendors and promotional giveaways. Each year a highlight of this event includes the announcement of the Sussex County Senior of the Year and recognition of all nominated individuals.
Sussex County Skylands Ride bus drivers will also be recognized for their years of safe driving.
The 2024 Senior Day at the New Jersey State Fair is sponsored by Homestead Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Homes, Newton Medical Center and United Methodist Communities at Bristol Glen.
