Two drivers injured in I-80 crash involving Jaguar and tractor-trailer in Morris County

ROXBURY TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – Two drivers were injured in a motor vehicle crash on Interstate 80 in Morris County on Thursday night, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Jeffrey Lebron.

The crash happened at around 9:56 p.m. on Interstate 80 eastbound at milepost 27.6 in Roxbury Township, Lebron said.

According to preliminary investigations, a Jaguar passenger vehicle lost control, veering off the roadway to the right and entering a ditch. A Freightliner tractor-trailer also lost control while attempting to avoid a collision, striking the guardrail and overturning, Lebron said.

Both drivers sustained minor injuries, Lebron said.

The crash remains under investigation, Lebron added.
