WHITE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – Two people were injured, including one seriously, following a two-vehicle crash in White Township on Tuesday afternoon, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Jeffrey Lebron.
The crash occurred on January 14 at around 2:11 p.m. at the intersection of County Route 519 and County Route 620, Lebron said.
A preliminary police investigation revealed that a Nissan Rogue, driven by 68-year-old Lynda McDonnell, was traveling south on County Route 519 approaching the intersection of County Route 620. Meanwhile, a Dodge Ram was traveling north on County Route 620 approaching the intersection of County Route 519. At the intersection, the Nissan failed to stop at the stop sign and entered County Route 620, subsequently colliding with the Dodge, Lebron said.
As a result of the crash, McDonnell sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The driver of the Dodge sustained minor injuries, Lebron said.
The crash remains under investigation, Lebron added.
