Woman charged with DWI following crash in Morris County

DENVILLE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A Morris County woman is facing charges, including driving while intoxicated, following a two-vehicle crash on Sunday in Denville Township.

The crash occurred on January 26 in the area of Franklin Road and Franklin Avenue, police said.

During the investigation, the driver of one of the vehicles involved was suspected of being under the influence of alcohol. The driver, Araceli Huaman, 19, of Denville Township, was arrested for driving while intoxicated after field sobriety tests were administered, police said.

Huaman was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, careless driving, failure to maintain lane, and possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. She was released pending a court appearance, police said.
