Can you do it? Win a ski lift ticket at this Sussex County ski resort for reciting the Gettysburg Address on Lincoln’s birthday

VERNON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) Mountain Creek Resort has announced it will celebrate President Abraham Lincoln’s 216th birthday on Wednesday, February 12, with a fun challenge for guests.

Anyone who successfully recites the famous 272-word Gettysburg Address will earn a free lift ticket—no cheating allowed.

“We’re excited to once again celebrate Lincoln’s birthday with our guests,” said Jackie Cerra, Resort Marketing Blazer at Mountain Creek Resort. “This is a perfect mix of history and fun on the slopes. We look forward to welcoming families for some exceptional skiing and snowboarding this President’s Day weekend.”

This will take place at Joe C’s Cafe located inside Red Tail Lodge between 9:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb 12.
