WARREN COUNTY, NJ – Lane closures are scheduled next week on the I-78 Toll Bridge and its New Jersey approach for ongoing roadway rehabilitation and security system work, officials said.
The following lane closures are scheduled for the I-78 Toll Bridge and its New Jersey approach segment:
Monday, April 21 — I-78 Westbound Approaching the Toll Bridge
Left lane closed from milepost 4.0 to milepost 3.8, 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. (two of three lanes open)
Right lane closed from milepost 3.8 to milepost 3.6, 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (two of three lanes open)
Monday, April 21 — I-78 Westbound on the Toll Bridge
Right lane closed, 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (two of three lanes open)
Tuesday, April 22 — I-78 Eastbound After Crossing from Pennsylvania into New Jersey
Right lane closed from milepost 1.1 to milepost 3.2, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (two of three lanes open)
These travel restrictions will allow a Commission contractor to carry out work related to a roadway rehabilitation and security system project along the corridor.
Motorists are advised to reduce speeds and exercise caution when approaching and driving through designated work zones.
All scheduled travel restrictions are subject to change due to weather conditions, emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances.
