American Legion Post 528 launches Food Warriors fundraiser to support active-duty military during shutdown

WHITE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) — The American Legion Carl D. Archer Post 528 has launched its annual Food Warriors Fundraiser to support active-duty military personnel and their families stationed at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst and Naval Weapons Station Earle.

In light of the recent government shutdown, organizers are calling on the community to lend a hand by making donations throughout the month of November. The fundraiser aims to provide essential support and relief to service members facing increased challenges during the shutdown period.

“Due to the recent shutdown we are asking for your help – please consider making a donation to our troops and their families during the month of November,” the post announced.

Donations can be made by check payable to American Legion Post 528 with “MSA-FW” noted on the memo line. Checks should be mailed to 322 Market St., Belvidere, NJ 07823.

Organizers expressed gratitude to residents for their continued generosity and commitment to New Jersey’s military community.

“Thank you for supporting our military community,” the post said.

The Food Warriors Fundraiser is sponsored by the American Legion Carl D. Archer Post 528 in White Township.
