State troopers responded to the crash at about 3:20 a.m. at milepost 18.4 in Allamuchy Township, according to officials. A preliminary investigation found that the tractor-trailer lost directional control, struck a guardrail and overturned.

The investigation remains ongoing, and no additional information was immediately available.
