
Woman charged after $6,300 withdrawn from Morris County resident’s bank account
DENVILLE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — A New Haven, Connecticut, woman has been charged in connection with the alleged theft of about $6,300 from a Denville resident’s bank account, police said.
Denville police said a resident came to police headquarters on Nov. 29, 2025, to report fraudulent activity involving her bank account. The victim told police that approximately $6,300 had been unlawfully withdrawn as a result of the theft, authorities said.
During the investigation, police identified Antionette Hill, 28, of New Haven, as the person responsible for the unauthorized withdrawals, police said. Hill was charged with third-degree theft of movable property, authorities said.
Hill was issued a complaint summons and is scheduled to appear in Morris County Superior Court at a later date, police said.
