Utility crews continued working to clear hazards and repair storm-related damage as they worked to restore power to affected customers.

Officials urged residents to remain alert for downed or low-hanging power lines and to immediately report any downed wires to 911.

Residents are advised to stay at least 30 feet away from any downed power line and assume it is energized and dangerous. Officials also cautioned the public to use extra care around power lines entangled in trees or storm debris, avoid attempting to remove trees or debris from electrical equipment, and never drive over a downed power line.
