Sussex County Community College to hold electrical lineworker program info session

NEWTON, N.J. (Sussex County) — Sussex County Community College will hold an information session June 23 for students interested in its electrical lineworker program.

The session is scheduled for 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the McGuire Technical Education Center, 47 Main St. in Newton.

College officials said the event will cover program expectations, course curriculum, required equipment, safety requirements and what students should know before beginning the program.

Vendors will be on site to answer questions about tools, climbing equipment and other program-related supplies. Gear will also be available for purchase.

College advisers will be available to assist with enrollment, financial aid and general questions about attending Sussex County Community College.

The session is intended for prospective students and families interested in learning more about the program and preparing for the upcoming semester.
