Ciocca Subaru of Flemington donates $8,890 to Hunterdon Health Foundation for patient transportation

RARITAN TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Hunterdon County) — Hunterdon Health Foundation has received an $8,890 donation from Ciocca Subaru of Flemington through the annual Subaru Share the Love Event, helping local patients access transportation to critical medical appointments.

The donation will benefit the foundation’s Patient Transportation Fund, which assists residents who may otherwise face challenges traveling to medical care.

In Hunterdon County, where public transportation options are limited, reliable transportation can be a significant obstacle for patients seeking treatment, particularly seniors managing chronic conditions and individuals undergoing regular cancer care.

According to Hunterdon Health Foundation, the funding will help ensure patients can continue receiving essential medical services without transportation barriers.

The donation was made possible through contributions generated during Subaru of America’s annual Share the Love Event, along with support from Ciocca Subaru of Flemington and its customers.

Foundation officials said the contribution will help provide dependable transportation for patients throughout the region, offering greater access to care and reducing the burden of travel for those facing ongoing health challenges.

The Patient Transportation Fund supports individuals who need assistance getting to medical appointments, treatments and other healthcare services across the Hunterdon County area.
