Two workers injured in Morris County crash involving tractor-trailer and bucket truck

BUTLER, N.J. (Morris County) — Two workers were injured Tuesday after a crash involving a tractor-trailer and a bucket truck on Route 23 South in Butler, police said.

Officers with the Butler Police Department responded July 7 to the area of Route 23 South and Cascade Way following reports of a motor vehicle crash involving the two vehicles.

Police said two individuals who were working in the bucket of the truck were injured in the collision. Both were transported to a local hospital for treatment. Their conditions were not immediately available.

All lanes of Route 23 South were temporarily closed while authorities conducted the crash investigation.

The Butler Police Department was assisted at the scene by the Butler Fire Department, the Kinnelon Police Department, the Riverdale Police Department and the Morris County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash remains under investigation.
