Atlantic Health Gagnon Cardiovascular Institute at Morristown Medical Center receives major gift from Crum & Forster
MORRISTOWN, N.J. (Morris County) — Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center has received the largest corporate donation in the Foundation for Morristown Medical Center’s history from Crum & Forster to support the expansion of cardiovascular care.
The financial commitment will fund the development of the Crum & Forster Noninvasive Diagnostic Suite within the Atlantic Health Gagnon Cardiovascular Institute. The new space will focus on comprehensive noninvasive diagnostics to help detect cardiovascular conditions earlier and expand patient access to diagnostic testing and treatment.
The suite will include 18 recovery bays, two procedural suites and charting areas for clinical teams.
The donation is part of a broader $9 million fundraising initiative that will add two cardiac catheterization laboratories, two electrophysiology laboratories and new recovery rooms for ambulatory patients within the institute’s existing footprint.

Atlantic Health officials said the gift builds on a partnership between Crum & Forster and Morristown Medical Center that spans more than 40 years. Crum & Forster, founded in 1822, is based in Morristown and provides property and casualty, accident and health, and specialty insurance solutions.

Atlantic Health Gagnon Cardiovascular Institute provides cardiovascular care to nearly 100,000 patients annually, and its cardiac catheterization program is among the largest in the nation. Hospital officials said demand for cardiology services is expected to grow over the next decade as minimally invasive structural heart and electrophysiology procedures continue to advance.
