MORRIS COUNTY, N.J. — Mosquito control treatments are scheduled early Monday in parts of Lincoln Park, East Hanover and Rockaway following an increase in adult mosquito populations, according to the Morris County Division of Mosquito Control.
Weather permitting, treatments are scheduled between 4 and 6 a.m. Aug. 17.
Crews will use all-terrain vehicles to treat wooded areas along Gettysburg Way in Lincoln Park and Yvette Drive and Brentwood Drive in East Hanover.
In Rockaway, crews will use a truck-mounted sprayer to treat streets in the area of Garwood Drive.
The county said crews will use either Anvil 2+2, which contains the active ingredient sumithrin, or Zenivex E4, which contains the active ingredient etofenprox.
