An investigation determined Terzano became involved in a physical dispute with the man and struck him with a closed fist, according to police. The blow caused the victim to lose consciousness and strike his head on the pavement, resulting in head trauma.

Police said Terzano initially fled the scene but later turned himself in to officers without incident.

Terzano was charged with third-degree aggravated assault. He was issued a complaint summons and released pending an appearance in Sussex County Superior Court in accordance with New Jersey’s Bail Reform Act.
