Mosquito treatment scheduled Sunday morning in Parsippany

PARSIPPANY-TROY HILLS, N.J. (Morris County) — Mosquito control treatment is scheduled for a wooded area in Parsippany early Sunday morning due to an increase in adult mosquito populations.

Weather permitting, the Morris County Division of Mosquito Control will treat the woods along Walsh Drive at Jannarone Park on Sunday, Aug. 23, between 4 and 6 a.m.

The treatment will be conducted using an all-terrain vehicle.

Officials said the treatment will use either Anvil 2+2, which contains the active ingredient Sumithrin, or Zenivex E4, which contains the active ingredient Etofenprox.
