Driver injured after pickup truck strikes utility pole in Sussex County
STILLWATER TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Sussex County) — A driver was injured after a pickup truck crashed into a utility pole in Stillwater Township late Tuesday night, according to New Jersey State Police.
Troopers responded at about 11:52 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, to the intersection of Mount Benevolence Road and Old Foundry Road, Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said.
A preliminary investigation found the driver of a Ram pickup truck lost directional control, traveled off the roadway and struck a utility pole, Lebron said.
The driver sustained injuries that were not considered life-threatening and was taken to an area hospital.
The crash remains under investigation, and no additional information is available.
