Fire destroys barn in Hunterdon County

EAST AMWELL TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Hunterdon County) — A barn was destroyed by fire Wednesday afternoon in East Amwell Township, according to New Jersey State Police.

Troopers responded to the structure fire at 1:39 p.m. on Route 31 in the Hunterdon County township, NJSP spokesman Trooper II Christopher Postorino said.

When troopers arrived, the residential barn was fully engulfed in flames, Postorino said.

The fire was extinguished, and no injuries were reported at the scene.

The case remains under investigation, and no additional information is available.
