Mosquito treatments scheduled Thursday in 3 Morris County towns
MORRIS COUNTY, N.J. — Mosquito control treatments are scheduled for early Thursday morning in sections of Lincoln Park, Montville and Morristown due to an increase in adult mosquito populations, according to the Morris County Division of Mosquito Control.
Weather permitting, crews will treat wooded areas using all-terrain vehicles between 4:30 and 6:30 a.m. Sept. 17.
Treatments are scheduled for the following areas:
- Lincoln Park: Anthony Boulevard
- Montville: Rachel Terrace in Rachel Gardens and Normandy Road
- Morristown: Speedwell Avenue at Speedwell Historic Park
Crews will use either Anvil 2+2, which contains the active ingredient sumithrin, or Zenivex E4, which contains the active ingredient etofenprox.
