Mosquito treatments scheduled Wednesday in Long Hill, Lincoln Park; Thursday in Rockaway
MORRIS COUNTY, N.J. — Mosquito control treatments are scheduled this week in sections of Long Hill, Lincoln Park and Rockaway due to an increase in adult mosquito populations.
Weather permitting, crews will treat wooded areas in Long Hill and Lincoln Park by all-terrain vehicle from 4:30 to 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23.
Treatments are scheduled for the Main Street Extension area in Long Hill and Robertson Way in Lincoln Park.
A treatment is also scheduled from 4:30 to 6:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, in the Beech Street area at Fireman’s Field in Rockaway.
Crews will use either Anvil 2+2, with the active ingredient Sumithrin, or Zenivex E4, with the active ingredient Etofenprox.
All treatments are weather permitting.
