HOPE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) — A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash on Interstate 80 in Warren County on Wednesday morning, according to New Jersey State Police.
Troopers responded to I-80 west at milepost 11 in Hope Township at approximately 10:45 a.m.
According to a preliminary investigation, a Harley-Davidson motorcycle operated by Christopher Beckans, 58, of Centereach, Virginia, was traveling west when Beckans lost control while changing lanes.
The motorcycle overturned and Beckans was ejected. He sustained serious injuries in the crash, state police said.
The crash remains under investigation, and no additional information is available.
