CLINTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Hunterdon County) — A fully loaded dump truck left Interstate 78 and entered the center median in Clinton Township on Wednesday morning, according to the Township of Clinton Division of Fire.
Annandale Hose Company crews responded Sept. 30 to I-78 westbound for the dump truck that had traveled off the roadway.
Fire crews stabilized the scene and determined there were no injuries, fluid leaks, hazardous materials or other hazards, according to the fire department.
New Jersey State Police assisted with scene safety while New Jersey Department of Transportation personnel and heavy recovery crews coordinated the removal of the loaded dump truck.
Lebanon Borough Fire Company, South Branch Emergency Services and the Hunterdon County Office of Emergency Management also assisted at the scene.
The fire department said the crash ended without any reported injuries.
