The duo has collaborated for two decades and recorded two albums together, Beethoven, Brahms, and Kreisler in 2010 and String Break in 2014.

The Rev. Chris Streeter, rector of Christ Church Newton, said the recital provides an opportunity for the community to experience live classical music in a welcoming setting.

“Music connects us more deeply to the beauty and wonder of God’s creation. I am delighted that Diana and Nicholas are offering their talents, and that Christ Church creates space in our community where this caliber of musicianship is celebrated,” remarked the Rev. Chris Streeter, Rector, Christ Church Newton.” I hope that those who don’t normally spend Sunday mornings here will consider joining us for this exceptional concert.”

The recital is free and open to the public, although a freewill offering will be collected. A reception in the church’s parish hall will follow the performance, providing attendees an opportunity to gather after the concert.

Christ Episcopal Church is located at 62 Main St. in Newton. For more information about the recital, call 973-383-2245 or visit www.christchurchnewton.org.
