Mosquito spraying set for Monday in 4 Morris County towns
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ – The Morris County Mosquito Commission has announced that it will be using an All-Terrain vehicle to treat a section of woods in East Hanover Township, Harding Township, and Chatham Monday morning.
The mosquito spraying will go on from 4:30 a.m. – 7:30 a.m. on Monday, June 13, weather permitting, the commission said.
The following areas are scheduled to be treated:
- East Hanover Township: Phyldan Road.
- Harding Township: Green Village Road (Loantaka Park).
- Chatham: Loantaka Way (Loantaka Park).
The commission will be using Anvil 2+2, active ingredient Sumithrin, EPA#1021-1687-8329 or Zenivex E4, active ingredient Etofenprox, EPA#2724-807, Pesticide Applicator License Number 20262B.
The commission will also be using a truck mounted sprayer to treat streets in Parsippany-Troy Hills Monday night.
The mosquito spraying will go on from 8:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. on Monday, June 13, weather permitting, the commission said.
The following areas are scheduled to be treated:
- Parsippany-Troy Hills: Decroce Court, DiEdwardo Court, Highview Rd, Oakland Ct, Foxcroft Rd, Willowcrest Rd, Long Rd, Oakdale Rd, and Old Foxhill Rd.
The commission will be using Anvil 2+2, active ingredient Sumithrin, EPA#1021-1687-8329 or Zenivex E4, active ingredient Etofenprox, EPA#2724-807, Pesticide Applicator License Number 20262B.
