Man pleads guilty to burglary of golf center in Sussex County
NEWTON, NJ (Sussex County) – A Sussex County man is pleading guilty to burglary of CaddyHack Golf Center, according to Acting Sussex County Prosecutor Annmarie Taggart.
Edward A. Zubl, 50, of Byram Township plead guilty on July 11 to third-degree burglary before the Honorable N. Peter Conforti, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Virtual Courtroom in Newton, Taggart said.
In pleading guilty, Zubl admitted to committing burglary on or about October 16, 2021 and October 17, 2021 in Andover Township by entering the CaddyHack Golf Center with the purpose to commit a burglary, Taggart said.
Sentencing is scheduled for August 10 before the Honorable Robert M. Hanna, Taggart said.
Zubl was represented by Nicole Rizzolo, Esq., and the State was represented by Special Deputy Attorney General and Acting Assistant Prosecutor Sally Anne Monkemeier.
