2 drivers seriously injured after Ford F-350 strikes car on shoulder of I-78 in Hunterdon County
CLINTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – Two drivers were seriously injured Sunday morning after a Ford F-350 crashed into a car that was stopped on the shoulder of Interstate 78 in Hunterdon County, according to New Jersey State Police Trooper Brandi Slota.
The crash was reported at 12:51 a.m. on Interstate 78 eastbound at milepost 21.1 in Clinton Township, Slota said.
A preliminary police investigation revealed Ford F-350, driven by a 30-year-old Morris Plains man, was traveling eastbound when it entered the shoulder and struck a Ford Crown Victoria, driven by a 34-year-old West Orange man, that was stopped on the right shoulder, Slota said.
Both drivers suffered serious injuries and were transported to an area hospital.
