ALDI launches free ‘Blind Box’ giveaway featuring surprise grocery products

ALDI is launching a limited-time giveaway that offers shoppers a chance to receive free grocery bundles filled with surprise products from across its stores.

The promotion, called the “ALDI Blind Box,” is inspired by the growing popularity of surprise unboxing trends in categories such as fashion, beauty and collectibles. The grocery retailer said the boxes will contain a mix of fan-favorite items, everyday staples and new products.

From June 22 through June 25, ALDI will release a different themed Blind Box each day. Beginning at noon Eastern time daily, shoppers can visit aldiblindbox.com to claim a free box while supplies last.

The giveaway will feature four themed boxes: Snack Blind Box, Fiber Blind Box, Protein Blind Box and a Mystery Blind Box.

According to ALDI, the Snack Blind Box includes a variety of snack products, while the Fiber Blind Box focuses on fiber-rich foods. The Protein Blind Box is designed to feature protein-packed products, and the Mystery Blind Box will contain a surprise assortment of items from throughout the store.

“The ALDI Blind Box taps into the excitement our fans already feel walking our aisles,” said Bridget Kozlowski, Director of Communications, ALDI. “Our shoppers come to ALDI for value, but they also come for discovery. From viral ALDI Finds to tried-and-true products shoppers love to tell their friends about, people love the thrill of discovering something new here. With surprise unboxings more popular than ever, this is our way of helping customers discover even more favorites.”

To participate, shoppers can follow @aldiusa on Instagram for daily theme announcements, visit the giveaway website at noon Eastern time, select the featured box and enter shipping information. The boxes will be shipped directly to recipients at no cost while supplies last.

ALDI said shoppers who miss the giveaway can still find featured products and other new items at stores nationwide and on the company’s website.
