Applicants sought for Sussex County Technical School Board

SPARTA TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – Sussex County residents interested in serving on the Sussex County Technical School are invited to send their resumes to the County of Sussex Board of County Commissioners.

The Sussex County Board of Commissioners requests that all resumes be accompanied by background information and a statement from the applicant outlining why you wish to serve as a school board member.

To qualify, applicants must be a citizen of the United States. Applicants must also be a resident of the district the member represents and must have been such for at least three years immediately preceding the member’s election or appointment. An applicant must be registered to vote in the district and not disqualified from voting.

Applicants cannot concurrently hold office as a member of a governing body of Sussex County and must be able to demonstrate independent judgment, distinction in their profession and have a firm commitment to serve Sussex County Technical School.
