County College of Morris presents fall musical “In The Heights” from Nov. 6-9

A Tale of Love, Hope and Heritage Told in Song and Dance

RANDOLPH TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County)County College of Morris (CCM) invites theater-goers to enjoy this fall’s musical, “In The Heights,” set in the vibrant Latino neighborhood of Washington Heights, Manhattan.

The production, presented by the Marielaine Mammon School of Music, Performing Arts, and Music Technologies, features four performances from Wednesday, Nov. 6, to Saturday, Nov. 9, at 7:30 p.m. each evening in Dragonetti Auditorium in the Student Community Center.

Directed by Marielaine Mammon, the musical boasts music and lyrics by award-winning songwriter Lin-Manuel Miranda.

“In The Heights tells the story of a vibrant New York City community,” Mammon said. “Rhythmic melodies and Latin dances help tell the tale of love, hope, and heritage.”

The cast includes talented CCM students such as Bryan Torres as Usnavi, Miah Moore as Vanessa, and Elizabeth Grant as Camila, among others. The ensemble features students from various local communities, enhancing the production’s rich cultural tapestry.

General admission tickets are priced at $15, while CCM students, alumni, children under 12, and seniors 62 and over can purchase tickets for $10. Tickets can be secured online at CCM’s ticket page or at the Campus Life window and Box Office on campus.

CCM is located at 214 Center Grove Road in Randolph, with visitor parking available in Lot 7. Attendees are encouraged to follow the signs to the entrance of the Dragonetti Auditorium Lobby.
