Blairstown Rotary Halloween Parade and Costume Contest to be held on Oct. 31

BLAIRSTOWN TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – The Blairstown Rotary Halloween Parade & Costume Contest is set to take place on Thursday, Oct. 31, and promises a festive evening for children and families in costume.

Participants are encouraged to gather for assembly and registration starting at 4:30 p.m. in front of the Post Office on Main Street. Each participant in the Costume Contest will receive a number for judging. The parade will kick off at 5:00 p.m., following a route from Main Street to Bridge Street, then to Hope Road, concluding at Agway.

After the parade, the Costume Contest will be held at Agway, where free cider and donuts will be provided for attendees. The contest will be judged by the North Warren High School Interact Club, sponsored by the Rotary, with prizes awarded for the best costumes.

For added convenience, the Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall will serve as a Halloween comfort station from 4:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. This station, managed by the North Warren Community Emergency Response Team and sponsored by the Blairstown Office of Emergency Management, will offer first aid, lost child assistance, nursing, and diaper change services.
