Car fire extinguished on I-80 Monday morning in Warren County

ALLAMUCHY TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) — Fire crews responded early Monday to a reported car fire on Interstate 80 near mile marker 18, officials said.

Firefighters arrived to find the vehicle fully involved and quickly stretched a hose line to bring the flames under control. The crew from an engine led the initial suppression effort, while a tanker supplied additional water and helped block traffic to protect responders.
