Activities will celebrate Hispanic/Latino contributions to society and continue the conversation about the importance of diversity and inclusion.

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) — Centenary University will mark National Hispanic Heritage Month with a series of activities that celebrate the histories, cultures, and contributions of people whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.

The events are sponsored by the University’s Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) and the LatinX Club.

“National Hispanic Heritage Month is a wonderful opportunity to recognize the many contributions those of Hispanic/Latino heritage have made at Centenary University, as well as across the United States and around the world,” said Vice President for Campus Life and Dean of Students Kerry Mullins. “Our campus community and our society have been enriched through the traditions of so many cultures, including those of our Hispanic/Latino friends and neighbors. This year’s activities are designed to celebrate their rich heritage, and also to continue the conversation about diversity and inclusion.”
