Centenary University recognized for promoting health, safety in Warren County

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (Warren County) — Centenary University was recently recognized by Prevention Connections and the New Jersey General Assembly and Senate for its dedication to promoting the health and safety of Warren County residents through partnerships with a number of community-based organizations.

A program of the Center for Family Services offered through the Warren County branch of the Coalition for Healthy and Safe Communities, Prevention Connections is a leading provider of substance abuse prevention services, with the goal of reducing and preventing substance use among Warren County youth, adults, and senior citizens.

Born and raised in Northwest NJ, Jay has a degree in Communications and has had a life-long interest in local radio and various styles of music. Jay has held numerous jobs over the years such as stunt car driver, bartender, voice-over artist, traffic reporter (award winning), NY Yankee maintenance crewmember and peanut farm worker. His hobbies include mountain climbing, snowmobiling, cooking, performing stand-up comedy and he is an avid squirrel watcher. Jay has been a guest on America’s Morning Headquarters,program on The Weather Channel, and was interviewed by Sam Champion.
