Cheez-It adds original gluten-free crackers, unveils new snack lineup for 2026

Cheez-It, part of Mars Inc., is expanding its product line with the launch of Cheez-It Original Gluten Free crackers, bringing the brand’s signature salty, crunchy, cheesy flavor to gluten-free snackers for the first time.

The company said the launch marks one of the most requested innovations in the brand’s history and comes after years of demand from fans who have adopted gluten-free diets or who have never been able to try Cheez-It before.

“Cheez-It fans have been asking for a gluten-free option for years, and we’re thrilled to finally deliver it – with the same irresistible taste they love,” said Cara Tragseiler, Senior Brand Director for Cheez-It. “We took the time to get it right, working carefully on the recipe and process to ensure gluten-free snackers can enjoy the same cheesy flavor and satisfying crunch without compromise. Now, even more fans can finally enjoy the Cheez-It experience they’ve been waiting for.”

Made with 100% real cheese, Cheez-It Original Gluten Free crackers are priced at $4.49 for a 9-ounce box, the company said.

The brand is also rolling out additional 2026 snack innovations aimed at adding new flavors, formats and textures, including:

  • Cheez-It Ultimate Snack Mix: A mix of Cheez-It varieties — Cheez-It Original, White Cheddar, Snap’d Double Cheese and Grooves Sharp White Cheddar — plus salted square pretzels. MSRP: $4.49.
  • Cheez-It Crunch: A 3D-shaped snack made with 100% real cheese in Kick’n Nacho Cheese, Zesty Jalapeno Cheddar and Sharp White Cheddar. Full-size 6.5-ounce bags will be available nationwide. MSRP: $4.49.
  • Cheez-It Snap’d Honey BBQ: A baked chip-style snack with a honey, tomato, hickory and cheddar seasoning blend. MSRP: $4.49.
  • Cheez-It Grooves Loaded Nachos: Ridged crackers with flavors inspired by loaded cheesy tacos, including toasted corn tortilla, taco seasonings, beefy flavor and cheddar cheese. MSRP: $4.49.

The company said the new products are expected to arrive at retailers nationwide in February.
