Colonial Musketeers to host children’s fife and drum workshop in Hackettstown

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (Warren County) — The Colonial Musketeers Junior Fife & Drum Corps will host an introductory children’s workshop Saturday, March 14, at the Hackettstown Community Center.

The workshop will begin at 10 a.m. at the community center, 293 Main St., and is open to children ages 7 to 11.

Participants will learn about playing the fife and drum and about the Colonial Musketeers organization. The event will give children the opportunity to try both instruments.

Organizers said the workshop will also include games, snacks and giveaways.

The snow date is Saturday, March 21, 2026.
