Commissioners recognize Ryan Neiber on his retirement after 25 years of service to the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office
FLEMINGTON, NJ (Hunterdon County) – Hunterdon County Commissioner Director John Lanza, on behalf of his colleagues, recently extended heartfelt congratulations and gratitude to Ryan Neiber, who is retiring after an exceptional 25-year career in law enforcement.
“Ryan Neiber’s retirement marks the conclusion of an extraordinary career dedicated to the safety and well-being of Hunterdon County residents,” said Lanza. “His leadership and commitment to public service have set a standard of excellence that will serve as an inspiration for years to come. We thank him for his 25 years of service and wish him a well-deserved and fulfilling retirement.”
Ryan began his career with Hunterdon County in March 2000 as a Sheriff’s Officer. Over the years, he rose through the ranks, being appointed as an Investigator in the Prosecutor’s Office in 2002, promoted to Sergeant in 2005, and ultimately to Lieutenant in 2014. Throughout his tenure, Ryan exhibited exceptional leadership, integrity, and professionalism, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues.
In addition to his law enforcement duties, Ryan played a pivotal role in numerous initiatives, including Operation Helping Hand, the Opiate Equity Task Force, the Local Advisory Committee on Alcoholism & Drug Abuse, and the County Alliance Steering Subcommittee. His efforts in these programs reflect his dedication to not only upholding the law but also improving the lives of those in need within the community.

Ryan leaves behind a legacy of excellence, reminding us all of the profound impact that one dedicated individual can have on the world.”
