County College of Morris and Table of Hope kick off holiday season with Thanksgiving food distribution event

Turkeys, Fresh Produce, Canned Goods and More Provided to Morris County Families

RANDOLPH TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – County College of Morris (CCM) and Table of Hope have once again partnered to host a Thanksgiving food distribution event to ensure that families in our community can enjoy a free Thanksgiving meal.

The drive-through event will take place on CCM’s campus on Friday, November 22, from 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Families in need throughout Morris County will receive turkeys and all the fixings for a full Thanksgiving meal, including fresh produce and canned goods.

Registration is required for the event, and the deadline is Friday, November 15. To register, visit https://tableofhopenj.org/thanksgiving. Recipients will remain in their vehicles while volunteers place the Thanksgiving meals in their trunks.

CCM’s Public Safety team, along with the Morris County Sheriff’s Office and Parsippany Office of Emergency Management, will be on-site to assist with the distribution and ensure the event runs smoothly and safely. The distribution will take place in Parking Lot 1 at CCM’s campus, located at 214 Center Grove Road in Randolph.

CCM has been partnering with Table of Hope for the Thanksgiving food distribution for five years, helping to spread hope and support to local families. Economic hardships continue to affect many families in Morris County, particularly during the holiday season.

This event is supported by local and state officials, as well as numerous community partners, sponsors, and a large team of volunteers.

“We are the community’s college and are proud to work alongside other organizations such as Table of Hope to support our neighbors and friends,” said Dr. Anthony Iacono, president of CCM. “We thank Table of Hope for their partnership, along with the many local and state organizations and volunteers who help make this event a success each year.”

Since 2011, Table of Hope has been committed to improving the quality of life for Morris County families by constructing pathways to economic stability, educational excellence, and holistic well-being. To make a donation, visit tableofhopenj.org/donate.
