From Classroom to Canvas: Public Invited to View Students' Best Works
RANDOLPH TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – County College of Morris (CCM) invites the public to a free art exhibit celebrating the culmination of two years of creative studies by talented students in the college’s Visual Arts and Animation program.
The Fall 2024 Portfolio Class Exhibition, showcasing the best works from students as they complete the final step of their academic journey, will run from December 5-17 at the CCM Gallery.
“The exhibit highlights the elements taught in the Portfolio course, which is designed to help students critique, improve, and select their best work, create effective presentations and written documents, and develop professional portfolios to market their creative work to galleries, museums, prospective clients, and four-year colleges and universities for transfer,” said CCM Professor Todd L. W. Doney, Department of Arts and Humanities.
A free reception to celebrate this next generation of creative professionals will be held on Thursday, December 12, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the CCM Gallery. Complimentary refreshments will be served.
Whether you’re an art lover, a prospective student, or just looking for inspiration, this exhibition of diverse and impressive artwork is not to be missed!
The CCM Gallery is located in the Sherman H. Masten Learning Resource Center on the college’s campus, 214 Center Grove Road, Randolph. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Parking is available in Lot 6.
