Mosquito spraying scheduled Tuesday morning in 3 Morris County towns

MORRIS COUNTY, N.J. — Mosquito control treatments are scheduled in wooded areas of Florham Park, Lincoln Park and Hanover Township early Tuesday, Aug. 25, due to an increase in adult mosquito populations.

Weather permitting, the Morris County Division of Mosquito Control will conduct treatments using all-terrain vehicles between 4 and 6 a.m.

Treatment is scheduled for the following locations:

  • Florham Park: Myrtle Avenue
  • Lincoln Park: Bog & Vly Lane
  • Hanover Township: North Pond Road at Bee Meadow Park

Officials said crews will use either Anvil 2+2, which contains the active ingredient sumithrin, or Zenivex E4, which contains the active ingredient etofenprox.

The scheduled treatment is weather permitting.
