Driver injured after car strikes tree in Warren County

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) — A driver was injured late Saturday night after a single-vehicle crash on Mine Hill Road in Washington Township, officials said.

The Washington Township Fire Department said crews responded just before midnight to a crash in the area of the Fairway Valley Golf Course.

Authorities said the vehicle struck a tree and came to rest in the woods.

The driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was transported to a hospital by the Washington Emergency Squad.

The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
