Early voting underway for Nov. 4 general election in Hunterdon County

HUNTERDON COUNTY, N.J. — Hunterdon County Clerk Mary H. Melfi is reminding residents that Early Voting is underway ahead of the General Election on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025.

Early Voting began Oct. 25 and runs through Nov. 2, with voting centers open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. On Election Day, Nov. 4, all polling places will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

“Early voting makes it easier than ever for residents to take part in our democratic process,” Clerk Melfi said. “Whether you choose to vote early, by mail, or in person on Election Day, the most important thing is that your voice is heard. Every vote truly matters.”

Hunterdon County has three early voting centers:

  • North Location: North Branch County Library (Meeting Room), 65 Halstead St., Clinton
  • Central Location: Hunterdon County Library (Meeting Room), 314 State Route 12, Building 3, Flemington
  • South Location: South County Fairgrounds – 4-H Building, 1207 Route 179, Lambertville

Voters who have applied for a Vote-by-Mail ballot but have not received it should contact the Hunterdon County Clerk’s Office at (908) 788-1214. Residents can also vote in person at the Clerk’s Office, located in the Hall of Records, 71 Main St., Flemington, through Monday, Nov. 3 at 3 p.m.

The Clerk’s Office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with extended hours on Thursday, Oct. 30, until 7 p.m., and on Saturday, Nov. 1, from 8 a.m. to noon.
