Eastbound traffic shift scheduled on Easton-Phillipsburg Free Bridge for May 27

A New Jersey-bound (eastbound) traffic shift is scheduled for Easton-Phillipsburg “free bridge” from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, according to the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission.

The temporary shift will allow a Commission contractor to conduct maintenance work on the bridge’s lighting system.

Motorists are urged to reduce speeds and exercise caution when traveling through the area. Travel impacts are not anticipated.

The scheduled travel restriction is subject to change due to weather conditions, emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances.
