JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — Firefighters quickly brought a residential structure fire under control Thursday morning in the Prospect Point section of Jefferson Township, authorities said.

Jefferson Township Fire Company No. 2 and Fire Company No. 1 were dispatched to the scene around 8 a.m. on March 26. An assistant chief arrived within minutes and confirmed smoke coming from the residence.
